Exchange with 18 manga students from Norway

Visiting vocational students drew from shared prompts, designed characters from Japanese and Norwegian folktales, and created a collaborative artwork with Horie students.

Norwegian and Horie Art School students adding drawings to a large collaborative artwork

Eighteen students from a manga vocational school in Norway visited Japan and joined Horie Art School students for a cross-cultural exchange.

They drew illustrations from the same prompts and designed characters inspired by Norwegian and Japanese folktales. Conversation flowed over snacks from both countries, making it a lively session.

Everyone finished by adding an illustration to one large collaborative sheet.
